I am Emeritus Professor of Applied Statistics within Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science at the University of Kent, UK, where I also have an official home page.
Here are some brief biographical notes.
I retired in 2019 and am no longer teaching or supervising research students.
I have broad interests in discrete data, stochastic modelling and statistical computing. Much of my work has focused on applications in ecology and bioscience.
